INTERNATIONAL BOARD COMMITTEES

ERCO Board Committees are working on strategies, plan, support, providing, guiding, concepts, vision, mission, core values, goals, objectives, facilitate fund opportunities, and make sure ERCO fully provides outcomes and Impacts to communities. Below, you will see and meet our amazing respective board committees who always care of ERCO sustainable.

Board Director

Vivien Griffin has been associated with ERCO since its inception, visiting annually to contribute to the teaching program, including the development of a computer skills segment. Vivien holds a Master of Science and before retiring served for 15 years as an elected local government councilor. Through this and earlier work experience, she brings skills in policy development, strategic planning, governance and budgeting. She has significant experience as a volunteer and executive management committee member for Australian environmental non-government organizations, including most recently an organization focused on local action for reducing emissions to contribute to climate action.

Board Member

Richard Willis is a retired teacher. He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Higher Diploma in Education. He also has a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). He has experience in teaching in state and independent schools in Africa and Australia and as a volunteer English teacher in Cambodia and Thailand. He lives in Australia.

Board Member

Mark Acres has volunteered with ERCO as an English teacher on two occasions and has also been a contributor and volunteer at another education-focused NGO in Siem Reap since 2011. Mark is a publishing Project Manager for Oxford University Press in the English Language Teaching division where he’s worked for more than 10 years. He has a wealth of experience in project delivery, resourcing and strategic planning. Mark also heads up a diversity and inclusion team which aims to ensure that Oxford University Press is fully representative in its publishing content. Mark is passionate about Cambodia, its culture and people, and has taken many trips there, including two sabbaticals from work. Mark lives in Oxford in the UK.

Hello. My name is Barbara and I live in the UK. I have volunteered with 3 NGO s  in Siem Reap over 6 winters. I also did 4 months in Kampot. I am very pleased to been asked to be a committee  member, and hope that I can contribute to such a worthwhile organization.
